Melvit Groats Mazurian Barley Bulk 400g / Kasza Jeczmienna
Melvit's mazurian barley from poland consists of carefully selected barley grain and the perfect nutrition to start the day.
One of the many nice recipes for barley can be made at home with simple ingredients.
You will need:
25 grams of Mazurian barley, 12 dried plums, 2 cups of water, 2-3 chopped capsicums, 4 tablespoons olive oil, 4 tablespoons of chopped green veggies, 1 cup of ground almonds, salt, pepper.
Begin preparations by rinsing the grain thoroughly, pouring hot water into it and letting soak for an hour. Drain, pour 2 cups of water into the pot with grain and cook until the grain absorbs the water (approx. 15 minutes). Wash the plums and bring to the boil, boil 10-15 minutes, then drain. Remove the pits from plums and cut up the berry. Mix with the other ingredients and serve with lettuce or a salad.
