Figaro Caperberries in Vinegar 240g
Caperberries are the fruit of the caper bush (the same bush from which capers are grown), a hardy drought resistant low lying bush.
Caperberries are the tiny unopened buds of shrubby caper bush which is native to the Mediterranean. Caperberries however, are the mature fruit of the bush, which are naturally fermented then pickled in vinegar.
Shaped like a small grape or olive, they are a great accompaniment to a tapas or mezze plate. Also, caperberries are widely used as a garnish, in anti-pasta or seafood. The flavor of the caper berry is similar to that of the caper, only far less intense.
