Koopmans Dutch Mini Pancakes Mix 400g / Poffertjes
Poffertjes! They must be one of the most famous typical Dutch products.
Poffertjes are dollar pancakes, made in a special pan with little dimples, which you fill with the mix. Then turn around once and you eat them with a bit of creamy butter, lots of powder sugar and if you desire, with fruits. It is a true delicacy and with the Koopmans mix it couldn't be easier to make! Delicious as a snack with coffee, or as a festive treat on a children's birthday. In addition, you can easily give this poffertjes recipe your own twist. For example, fill your poffertjes with jam, cheese or anything else that looks good to you.
Makes approx 150 poffertjes.
Preparation:
- Pour milk into mixing bowl.
- Add the mix and stir the batter with a whisk or mixer.
- Stir eggs and oil into the batter.
- Let the pancakes pan heat up, greasing it with oil or butter.
- Pout the batter into the holes with a dosing bottle or spoon.
- Bake the pancakes brown on the underside.
- Before the batter has solidified, turn the pancakes with a fork or stick and bake the pancakes on the other side until brown.
- Serve with butter, powdered sugar, ice cream or whatever else you desire.
Ingredients: wheat flour, buckwheat flour, raising agents, salt.
