Koopmans Dutch Custard Mix 400g
With Koopmans Custard you can make variety of different delicious vanilla desserts yourself. For example, a delicious custard pudding, custard, crème brûlée or fruit trifle.
You can use this custard powder to make your Dutch Vanilla pudding at home. To prepare, you will need 50 grams Koopmans Custard Powder, 1 litre milk and 65g sugar. Combine sugar and custard powder. Add 6 tablespoons milk to sugar/custard powder. Stir until well mixed. Heat the rest of milk in a sauce pan. Add custard to hot, but not boiling milk. Stir until well combined. Bring to a boil. Stir constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 1-3 minutes, stir often until thickened. Spoon custard into serving dish(es). OPTION: Sprinkle with vanilla sugar. You can cover with plastic wrap after slightly cooled to have a thinner skin on top. Cool for 3 hours.
To make a Custard pudding you will need 65g grams Koopmans Custard Powder, 1 litre milk and 65g sugar. Combine sugar and custard powder. Add 6 tablespoons milk to sugar/custard powder. Stir until well mixed. Heat the rest of milk in a sauce pan. Add custard to hot but not boiling milk. Stir until well combined. Bring to a boil. Stir constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 1-3 minutes, stir often until thickened. Rinse a pudding mold with cold water. Pour the pudding into the mold and let the pudding cool for about 3 hours. Turn the pudding out on to a flat plate and garnish pudding with whipped cream or fresh fruit if desired.
