An extruding method used while producing unrefined sunflower oil (first pressing) provides for a short-term heating of hulled sunflower seeds (processing period in the heating zone is 30 sec).
This method allows to avoid the formation of products of thermal decomposition and oxidation, while preserving useful vitamins, polyunsaturated fatty acids, e.g. linoleic acid.
Therefore, unrefined sunflower oil is a natural product that is not exposed to physical and chemical activations during the process flow. It contains the highest nutritional value, preserving such biologically active substances, as phospholipids, tocopherols and sterins.
Unrefined sunflower oil is characterized by the following specific features: the highest quality; pleasant aroma and taste; natural colour; free from any off-taste and bitterness; perfect source of human dietary supplements.
