Chef’s choice edible leaf gelatine gold grade is a colourless, tasteless and odourless ingredients that sets clearer and smoother consistency than powdered gelatine.
The grade of gelatine is determined by its strength that is measured in “blooms”.
The higher the bloom, the better the quality.
Gold grade has around 200 blooms.
This gold grade gelatine is a top-quality product that produces a delightful consistency in dishes and desserts.
Gelatine can be used in countless desserts and savoury dishes and offers none of its own flavour into a dish, which allows the flavour of the dish it combines with to shine through.
Directions for use:
1. Soak gelatine leaves in ice cold water for approx. 2 minutes.
2. gently squeeze the water out from the expanded gelatine.
3. Warm mixtures: dissolve gelatine directly into warm mixtures, do not boil the mixtures with gelatine as it will lose its gelling power.
Cold mixtures: dissolve gelatine in a pan over a low heat while stirring continually and slowly add the cold mixtures.
4. Place dishes in refrigerator to set.
No artificial colours or flavours.
