Chef’s choice leaf gelatine titanium grade sets much clearer and at a smother consistency compared to powdered gelatine.
This is the reason why leaf gelatine is preferred by professionals and regular bakers.
This grade of gelatine sets quickly and is easy to use, making it a great gelatine for anyone from beginners to experts.
As leaf gelatine is almost odourless and flavourless, it imparts none of its own flavour into the dish which allows the flavour of the dish to shine through.
Directions for use: soak the gelatine leaves in cold water for approximately 3 minutes.
Once soft, remove sheets from cold water, squeeze gently to remove excess water.
Warm mixtures: dissolve gelatine directly into warm mixtures.
Do not boil the mixtures with gelatine as it will lose its gelling power.
Cold mixtures: dissolve gelatine in a pan over low heat while stirring continually and slowly add the cold mixtures.
Place dishes in the refrigerator to set.
Gelling time varies from recipe to recipe.
No artificial colours or flavours.
