Traditional Fried Russian Pirozhki.

Imagine a fluffy, golden fried doughnut stuffed with mince and you are halfway to realising the stomach-warming satisfaction of piroshki!

Our Pirozhki are the yeasted buns, soft and fluffy, fried so the outer layer develops a thin, golden crust. It comes in a variey of fillings: beef with noodles, mashed potatoes with onion and cabbage.

Beef and noodles pirozhki - a hot filling of minced meat and vermicelli noodles that tastes even better with a splodge of chilli sauce on the side.

Mashed potatos and caramelized onion pirozhki - probably the best-known Russian hand pie.

Cabbage pirozhki are probably the most popular ones and known as "from babushka".

Our piroshki are as authentic as you can get without traveling to Russia. Like all the incredible home made goods from Ruski Way Deli pirozhki continue to be the most celebrated and on a high demand.

Pirozhki are very common food in Russia and other countries of Eastern Europe and it is offten made by families at home.

"Pirozhki" is a generic word for individual-sized baked or fried buns stuffed with a variety of fillings. Pirozhok is the diminutive form of the Russian "pirog", which refers to a full-sized pie. Pirozhki are not to be confused with Polish pierogi, which are similar to the Russian pelmeni or Ukrainian varenyky.

Ingredients: Dough: flour, eggs, water, salt, sugar, yeast, sunflower oil. Meat filling: beef, onion, soy vermicelli noodles, soy sauce, salt, white pepper, vegetable stock. Potato filling: potato, onion, salt, white pepper, vegetable stock. Cabbage filling: cabbage, onion, dill, salt, white pepper, vegetable stock.

Best to consume warmed: warm up in a microwave for 30 sec or to your own taste in an oven. To form a crispy crust warm up in an oven or grill.
