Pelmeni (dumplings) is traditional food from Russia which is now enjoyed by millions around the world. In different countries Pelmeni is also known under other names such as Vareniki (dumplings with vegetarian filling), Pierogi or Perogi or Pyrogy, Koldunai, Kreplah, Manti.
Pelmeni is a traditional pasta pocket – a light and tender dough shell bursting with delicious, natural ingredients. Pelmeni have more filling than average pasta and its own unique and delicious taste.
Without any doubts, pelmeni is really healthy food! Quick and easy to cook it makes a healthy alternative to conventional fast food.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: place frozen in a good quantity of boiling, slightly salted water. Simmer for 12 minutes. Gently stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Drain well, add a small piece of butter, stir gently and serve with sour cream and a piece of fresh parsley leaves.
