Officer Smoked Cod Liver in own oil is produced from cod liver. The liver is rinsed and trimed, then smoked in the genuine way. The smoked cod liver is an entirely natural product and very rich in vitamins A and D and Omega 3.
Smoked cod liver, or foie de morue fume, is usually served on bread or toast. Quite the treat spread on toasted bread with a dash of lemon juice and a little ground pepper.
Though Officer cod liver is very popular in France it is made in Denmark, by a century-old company named Bornholms (after the island on which it is based).

Great taste, loved by all in the family

We bought this product as prevention for arthritis but ended up enjoyed by everybody in the family. Great for breakfast on tosted bread with pepper and lemon and a fresh mint tea. We will keep buying it.
